Good News for North Carolinians from REMI Residential Elevators
March 22nd, 2010

Here's some good news for ya'll in the great state of North Carolina!  The state has recently changed their law and now allow for the installation of LULA (Limited Use/ Limited Application) elevators such as those sold by REMI Home Elevators in small businesses such as private clubs and churches.   An alternative to traditional commercial elevators, LULA elevators are smaller and very cost-effective.

Contact a REMI Home Elevators sales rep today at 1-800-545-6120 ext. 601 to further discuss LULA elevators.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day from Remi Home Elevators!
March 17th, 2010

Here's a fun factoid to stump friends and colleagues with on this fine Saint Patrick's Day.  There were two home elevators installed in the Biltmore House, home of the Vanderbilt family in Asheville, North Carolina.  One was a freight elevator used by the staff of the Biltmore estate and the other was a passenger elevator used for the vertical passage of the Vanderbilt family and their esteemed guests.

The home elevators in the Biltmore Estate were purchased in 1895 by the first and then only home elevator company. Click here for a view of both home elevators as they can be seen today.
